These terms are the agreement between you and Oxyloop (“we”) for the Memo app and website. By creating an account or using Memo you accept them. If you do not, please do not use Memo.
1. The service
Memo records or imports audio, transcribes it, and uses AI to produce summaries, decisions, action items and answers. Transcripts and AI output can contain mistakes. Check anything important against the audio before you rely on it.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Memo, and you must be at least 16. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Recording other people
Laws on recording conversations differ by country. You are responsible for telling participants that they are being recorded and for getting any consent the law requires. Do not use Memo to record people secretly or unlawfully.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not break the law or infringe the rights of others, including privacy rights.
- Do not upload content you have no right to process.
- Do not try to attack, overload, reverse engineer or bypass the limits of the service.
- Do not attempt to make the AI features act outside their purpose.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Free trial, subscriptions and fair use
New accounts get 60 free minutes, once. After that, recording and importing need a subscription: €9.99 per month or €79.99 per year (prices may vary by store and tax). Subscriptions are bought and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and renew automatically until you cancel in your store account. Refunds are handled by the store under its rules. A fair-use limit of 30 hours of recording per month applies to subscriptions. Existing meetings, playback, search and Ask stay available if you reach a limit.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to your recordings and notes. You give us permission to store and process them, and to pass them to the providers listed in our privacy policy, only to run Memo for you. Sharing a meeting by link makes it readable by anyone with the link until you stop sharing.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account and data in the app or on our delete-account page. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; cancel that in the App Store or Google Play.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Memo available but do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or stop features, and will give notice of changes that matter to you.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or consumer rights you have by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses from relying on an inaccurate transcript or summary. 10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [country to be confirmed before publishing]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
